Outreach Team Meeting, June 4

Outreach Team Meeting Sunday, June 4 after service. We will convene Babaghannouj Bistro, 2200 West Main Street, Durham, NC. It is underneath the Wachovia Building in Erwin Square.


Plans for this year include:

  • Reconciling Prayer Group at Urban Ministries (homeless shelter)
  • Viewing and discussion group of the movie "Crash", which raises interesting issues around racism and prejudice.
  • Participation in Bread for the World Program
  • Continuation of Cross-Racial dialogue group
  • More Tamale Parties and outreach to Hispanic communities
  • Continue support of IHN and Cropwalk
