IHN - Dinner Hosting for FULL HOUSE on August 27th

The Durham IHN has reached it's maximum capacity of twelve guests consisting of four adults and eight children ages 2 - 10. Thanks to all who have already signed up to bring food. We still need people to help out with meat, starch, and a healthy desert. The food can be brought to worship service Sunday morning, or delivered directly to the IHN house on S. Roxboro Street that afternoon. We also need drivers to help transport ten people to Trinity at 7:00 PM, and back to the IHN house early the next morning; it's a five-minute drive. "Hope for Middle East Peace"Interfaith Prayer Service (Aug. 13)

The escalating military confrontations and violence in the Middle East are dominating the news and sadden our sensibilities. During the past few days there has become a very broad based effort to organize a Prayer Service for our hope for peace in the Middle East.

This Triangle-wide interfaith service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2006, in Meymandi Hall, Progress Energy Center For The Performing Arts, 1 East South Street in Raleigh. This service will be attended by people of many faith traditions.
