Government-sponsored militias are carrying out ethnic cleansing, rape, murder, starvation,
and displacement in the Darfur region of western Sudan, Africa
¨ 400,000 people brutally slaughtered
¨ 2.5 million people displaced
¨ 200,000 refugees in neighboring Chad
¨ More than 10,000 people dying each month

These events are planned in conjunction with the Global Day for Darfur on September 17. The Save Darfur Coalition is calling on communities across America to organize 10 Days of Action in anticipation of this event. These are not fundraisers; no monies will be collected. They are opportunities for Christians from across this land of privilege to gather in Jesus’ name for the sake of those whom he loves: the poor and dispossessed, the abused and mistreated, the forgotten and those who mourn.
